The venerable classic! An amp heard on countless recordings and is as relevant in modern music today as it has ever been. The staple found in all of the top studios in the world because of it’s fantastic tone. Excellent for bass, keyboard, and guitar!

This Ampeg model B-15N was made in early 1962 and has the earliest features, including the double baffle, “random flair” tolex, early-style grill cloth, and tube rectifier. It has had a full servicing (caps and tubes where needed) including the original power transformer replaced with vintage spec and fit into the original casing. This is a crucial step as this model is known for blowing the originals — they just didn’t hold up. If you want a B-15N that actually works and sounds as it should, trying to find one with an original is a fool’s errand. If it hasn’t blown, it definitely will.
